4 Treadmill hacks for weight loss

If you are like most people, then you probably despise running on a treadmill compared to running in the outdoors.

The beauty of running is the ability to get some fresh air, see some amazing trails and to be around nature.

But unfortunately sometimes the weather just doesn’t allow this, and we are forced to having to run inside on the lovely treadmill!

4 Awesome Treadmill Hacks

Lately I have been spending a lot of time on the treadmill, and have found a few fun hacks to make the time spent on it a little bit more interesting.

I have been mixing things up a lot, and the results are that I don’t feel as bored as always, plus the workouts have been really good and intense!

Below are 4 Awesome Treadmill Hacks To Lose Weight Fast

Tip #1: Do Interval Training

There’s nothing worse that just running on a treadmill for 30 minutes at the same speed.

It gets boring, you aren’t moving, and there is only so much you can do to keep your mind sane!

Interval training is where you break up your run into more intense blocks of training.

For example, instead of running 5 miles at a normal speed, you could rather do a 3 mile run where every 500 yards you alternate between a really fast speed and a slow speed.

Tip #2: Use The Incline Function More Often

Hill running burns like no other.

It’s tough, and is a good thing to incorporate into your treadmill workout.

Try and set an incline every now and then during your run. This way you are not just running a flat, boring run.

Tip #3: Break It Down With Small Goals

You ever notice when you start to run on the treadmill how the distance just seems to be taking forever to pass?

Well try and combat this by setting small goals.

For example, set your sights on hitting the first mile in a certain time, and just focus on that. Once you reach that mile, do the same for the second mile, and so on.

Tip #4: Change Up Your Running Routines

Try out a few different workouts and see which ones you feel works best for you.

Then alternate between these workouts as much as possible.

This way you never feel like you are always doing the exact same routine when running on the treadmill.
